Fractora™ is an advanced fractional skin and tissue resurfacing treatment device to improve skin quality by enhancing the collagen-boosting effects of microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. It is designed to penetrate deep targeting sub-dermal layers and remodel the skin, leaving you with a refreshed youthful appearance by promoting tissue renewal.

Key Benefits

  • Addresses multiple problems, including appearance of the skin, with fractional coagulation and ablation
  • Significant resolution of cystic acne and scars (improving acne scarring by 50%)
  • Safe on skin type VI with little risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) which is common with other resurfacing methods
  • Combination of fractional coagulation and volumetric heating through tips with various depths and pin density configurations to allow wide coverage of different layers of skin

How Does It Work?

The tip of Fractora is equipped with tiny needles to allow deep penetration of the RF energy into the skin.

Fractora™ utilizes fractional RF energy and the tip of the device has tiny needles to generate coagulation. The combination of fractional coagulation and volumetric heating through tips with various depths and pin density configurations allow different layers of the skin to be covered and treated for optimal results. It is also named “RF microneedling / microneedling + RF” because it combines the two technologies into one procedure, allowing patients to enjoy benefits both the technologies bring.

It breaks up the radio frequency waves into microscopic spots (hence the term “fractional”), and ends up causing tremendous collagen production in the skin after each treatment. The final result is smoother, tighter skin and overall improvement of skin tone over the following weeks.

Treatment Areas

Fractora™ can be used in areas that demonstrate stretch marks, fine or deep wrinkles, scars or discolored red and brown skin tone. The most common areas of treatment are:

  • the lower eyelid,
  • upper eyelid,
  • smile lines,
  • cheeks,
  • mouth and neck.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does this procedure cost?

Our Fractora session starts from $900.

Your Fractora treatment cost depends on the severity of your condition and the number of sessions you’ll need. For deep acne scars, you may need a more rigorous setting and 2 or more sessions to achieve satisfactory results.

Schedule a consultation today to discuss with our doctor and establish your personalized Fractora facial rejuvenation therapy.

Is The Procedure Painful?

There should be minimal pain or discomfort as numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to treatment. However, this varies from patient to patient and depends on the depth of the treatment. Our physician will communicate with you during the procedure and adjust the depth on one or more sensitive areas.

How Many Fractora Sessions Will I Need?

It depends on individual conditions. Most patients will see results just after one treatment. For deep scars, it will take two sessions to start seeing results and more sessions for optimal results.

Does It Work On My Light/Dark Skin Tone?

Fractora’s color blind technology means most skin types can receive treatment without post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Please schedule a consultation session with our doctor to determine your candidacy of the Fractora Treatment.

How Long Does it Take to Recover?

Recovering from a Fractora session depends upon the device’s settings and treatment aggressiveness. For mild settings, the recovery is in general quick. Most people should be able to resume normal activities immediately. People may experience mild redness and inflammation post treatment. The symptoms will subside within 24 hours. For more vigorous Fractora settings in treating problematic skin conditions, a few days may be needed.

Am I a good candidate?

Fractora is designed to work for people with some degree of skin laxity, sun damage and stubborn acne scarring. It is suitable for all skin types and tones.
