The waxing process involves hot wax, an applicator, and a fabric strip. The applicator is used to apply the wax to the skin. Then, the fabric strip is applied on top, smoothed down, and then pulled to get the hair from the follicles out.
Waxing typically leaves the skin smooth for several weeks, at which point you’ll need to wax the same area again to remove any new hair growth. It is effective for all hair types, skin types, and skin tones.
Application areas include:
- Full face or partial such as brow, chin & upper lips
- Full back
- Full / Half arm
- Abdomen (belly)
- Full / Half leg
- Bikini lines (sides) & Brazilian
We recommend having a professional waxing service at our clinic during Spring / Summer months when laser hair removal is not recommended due to higher risk of skin sensitivity. It is also ideal for our clients who are eligible to receive laser hair removal – in this case it is absolutely OK to have waxing whenever you need it!
Note: You should stop waxing 4-6 weeks before your first session of laser hair removal, and during a full treatment cycle which consists of 6-10 sessions long with each session spaced 6 weeks apart.
