Sciton BBL® Pigmentation, Sun Damage & Uneven Skin Tone

Sciton BBL® (BroadBand Light) allows patients of various skin types to improve the appearance of pigmentation, sun damage, and uneven skin tone. Pigmentation concerns can involve excess melanin in different layers of the skin and may require a series of treatments for visible improvement. BBL delivers targeted light energy into the skin to gently break up pigment while supporting overall skin clarity and renewal.

It is important to note that pigmentation is often influenced by ongoing sun exposure and internal factors. Maintenance treatments, sun protection, and appropriate skincare are recommended to support long-term results.

Sciton BBL® Redness, Rosacea & Vascular Concerns

Sciton technology can be used to address visible redness, flushing, and vascular concerns such as broken capillaries. By targeting hemoglobin within the skin, treatments help reduce the appearance of redness and support a more even skin tone. Redness and rosacea are complex conditions, and treatments can be adjusted based on individual skin sensitivity. Sessions are typically quick and tailored to your skin, with recovery time varying depending on the treatment and individual response.

Sciton Laser Rejuvenation & Skin Quality (Laser Genesis / Laser Painting)

As skin ages, changes such as uneven texture, enlarged pores, redness, and breakouts can develop. Using Sciton Laser Genesis (Nd:YAG), controlled heat is delivered into the deeper layers of the skin to support collagen production and improve overall skin tone and texture.

Our Laser Painting technique allows providers to target specific areas of concern rather than treating the entire face, creating a more personalized treatment approach. Because the Nd:YAG wavelength penetrates deeper into the skin, it can be suitable for a range of skin tones, including higher Fitzpatrick types, when performed with appropriate settings.

Treatments may be performed year-round, including in the summer if sun exposure is limited, although avoiding direct sun and using proper protection is recommended. Treatment time typically starts from 60 minutes depending on the areas being addressed.

Sciton Laser Hair Removal

Using advanced Sciton technology, laser hair removal is designed to deliver precise and consistent hair reduction across a variety of skin types. Compared to more basic laser systems, Sciton allows for greater control over energy settings and depth, enabling treatments to be more accurately tailored to your skin tone, hair type, and treatment area. This helps improve treatment efficiency while minimizing impact to the surrounding skin.

The laser targets pigment within the hair follicle to help reduce future hair growth, leading to finer regrowth and smoother-looking skin over time. Treatments are generally well-tolerated, and a series of sessions is recommended for optimal results.
