Stress Urinary Incontinence
Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) refers to a condition related to vaginal laxity and pelvic floor muscles relaxation. In this situation, activities that cause increased pressure in your abdomen (placing stress on your bladder) will cause leakage of urine. Such activities may include sneezing, coughing, laughing, exercising, jumping, and in some severe cases even simply walking or bending over.
Statistics show that this is a very common condition, affecting approximately 1 in 3 women in their lifetime. It is something that is more likely as one gets older.
At Richmond Medical Spa Club, we know that this condition can be embarrassing. We offer private consultations in a safe medical environment, where we can assess you to determine the best treatment options for you. Often there are simple non-surgical treatments that can help. However, in some cases a surgical consultation may be required.
Feel free to book a consultation with us by calling 604-284-5501 or email info@medicalspaclub.com and ask for a “Feminine Rejuvenation” Consultation. Such a consultation gives you an opportunity to learn about this condition without any obligation to proceed with any treatment or service.
