A recent study has shown that patients who maintain a regular annual or biannual regimen of BBL treatment can both reduce and delay long-term signs of aging such as photodamage, telagiectases, fine lines and wrinkles, and skin laxity in a natural looking way.
The study is the longest blinded evaluation of visual skin quality and rejuvenative effects resulting from BBL treatment. It showed that the participants’ treated skin appeared to have aged a median of ~2 years, when the skin actually aged a median of 9 years.
